Bevezető újoncoknak – Intro for newbies

Nade, ki vagyok én?

Ilónak hívnak (ami az Ildikóból jön, mielőtt újabb kedves Ilona napi köszöntéseket kapnék :))

Ilóvagyok és gyűlölök szelfiket készíteni. De most megerőltettem magam. (Apropó, amúgy hallottátok, hogy Galla Miklós magyarosította a selfie-t, “öncsi”-re? :D)

Most akkor honnan is jöttél?

Hadd válaszoljak a fentiekre egy-két képes rejtvénnyel...

Abban az országban születtem, ahonnan az alábbi fűszercsomag származik. (És amely egyben minden gasztronómiai szempontból hithű világutazó magyar elengedhetetlen kulináris kelléke.)

Az utóbbi néhány évben abban az országban laktam, ahol az alábbihoz hasonló szuvenírek kaphatóak.

Hol vagy most? Hol van Somewhereshire?

Somewhereshire? Sehol. Vagyis inkább mindenhol, nemde? =)

Itt is vagyok és ott is: jelenleg a Field Studies Council nevű szervezet gyakornokaként dolgozom, és első néhány hét során a szervezet különböző központjaiban kapok képzést. Hogy később hova helyeznek, azt még nem tudom – így talán már érthető a blog címe is. =)

Mit csinálsz, mivel foglalkozol?

Frissen végzett ökológus volnék, változatos tapasztalatokkal és érdeklődési területtel. Belekóstoltam a kutatásba, egy kicsit a tanításba, de volt szerencsém fenntarthatósági projekteken is önkénteskedni és egy kicsit elmerülni a környezeti nevelésben is (leginkább az Ösvénnyel, ha valaki kíváncsi lenne! :-)). Az FSC-nél nagy örömömre terepi oktatással és környezeti neveléssel fogok foglalkozni.

Miért blogolsz minderről?

Egyrészt szeretném tartani a kapcsolatot azzal a sok fantasztikus emberrel, akiket megismerhettem eddigi kalandozásaim során (akár otthon, akár Norvégiában, akár máshol) és akiket a barátaimnak mondhatok. Úgy gondolom, hogy ebben segíthet ez a blog.

Másrészt, azt gondolom, hogy a környezeti nevelés igenis egy fontos és sokfelé talán kissé elhanyagolt dolog, és remélem, hogy a blogommal továbbíthatok néhány inspiráló gondolatot és pillanatot, elgondolkodtató történetet és némi lelkesedést, amely mások számára is értékes lehet.

Ja, és nincs más hely, ahol posztolhatnám számos fotómat Kiskékről, aki mindenhova elkísér.

Who are you?

My name is Iló (to be pronounced as “e-low” or az "kilo", without the 'k').

Where do you come from?

Let me answer some of these questions with a little puzzle...

I am from the country where this little bag of spice has come from (and yes, I do always take one with me for my travellings...:P)

In the last few years I was living in the country where you can buy souvenirs like this.

Where are you now? Where is Somewhereshire?

Somewhereshire? Well, nowhere. Or rather anywhere? =)

I am here and there and everywhere... At the moment I am a trainee tutor at the Field Studies Council and in the coming few weeks I am going to stay and learn at different centers. When my training period is over I will be placed at one of FSC's learning locations more permanently, but I have yet to see where that will be. I hope you are closer to understand the geography of Somewhereshire now. ;-)

What do you do?

I am a freshly graduated ecologist, with various fields of interest and experiences from different areas. I tested myself and tasted research, I did a little bit of teaching, I volunteered a bit on sustainability projects and I worked a bit in environmental education as well (with Ösvény, if you are really keen, although I am afraid, you should boost your knowledge of Hungarian first...). At FSC, I am going to work within outdoor and environmental education. 

Why do you blog about this?

Firstly, I would like to keep in contact with all the fantastic people I know around the world and I believe this blog might help.

Secondly, I believe that environmental education is an important cause that might be neglected at some places and I hope I can share some inspiring moments, thoughts, stories and some enthusiasm that others might find entertaining or useful.

Also, I have nowhere to post all the pictures about this little fellow on the photo (The Little Blue), who follows me everywhere.
